Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

All graphic design, web design & development, and ongoing IT services provided by WebVUS are subject to the following terms and conditions.

Estimates & Contracts

- Estimates provided to prospects are valid for 7 days. After this period, a new quote will be issued upon request.

- Contracts not signed by the client within 15 days of delivery are subject to revision. A new contract may be created upon request.

Charges & Fees for New Websites

- Payment Structure:

- Deposit: A 40% deposit is required at contract signing for all new web design projects.

- Final Payment: The remaining 60% balance is due upon project acceptance, before the website is released or published.

- Payment Terms:

- Invoice Payment: Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the final invoice.

- Late Payment: If payment is not received within 14 days, the project will be terminated.

- Reactivation Fee: Reactivating a terminated project incurs a handling and reactivation fee of $249 + GST (or applicable taxes).

- WebVUS retains the right to hold all graphics and project materials, except for client-provided content and graphics, until full payment is received.

Payments

- WebVUS accepts payments via Wire-Transfer, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and E-Transfer. Projects will not be released or uploaded until full payment is received.

Hours of Operation

- Business hours are Monday-Friday, 24/7 except provincial and federal holidays, incur a base rate of $70 per hour plus an additional $50 per hour for more then 2 hours supports.

Website Design Credit

- All custom web design clients will have a "Designed by WebVUS" link in the footer of every page. This is non-negotiable and cannot be removed without our consent.

Copyright & Ownership

- Upon project completion, WebVUS transfers all rights and ownership of custom designs and programming to the client. Software and third-party graphics remain under their respective copyrights.

- Ownership and copyright of all template/theme partners and limited edition templates remain with WebVUS and are not transferred to the client.

- WebVUS reserves the right to resell custom-designed websites that remain unpaid, unaccepted mockups, or graphics not in legal use by the client.

- WebVUS retains the right to display websites and graphics designed by WebVUS on our website and in marketing materials.

Non-Communication

- If we cannot communicate with a client for at least 60 days by phone or email during the design and development process, the project will be canceled without notice, and no refund will be issued.

Support Cancellation Policy

- Support agreements can be canceled with 30 days’ notice.

- WebVUS reserves the right to cancel support agreements for any reason, including fraud or inaccuracies, and will notify you immediately. A partial refund will be issued if WebVUS cancels the agreement.

Refund Policy

- WebVUS does not offer refunds on any purchases made on this website.

Subscriptions

- Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis, with automatic renewals. You may cancel automatic renewals by contacting us via email at info@webvus.com with 30 days’ notice before the renewal date.

Website Warranty

- New websites include a 30-day warranty post-launch. Support beyond this period is not provided.

Damages and Limitation of Liability

- WebVUS is not liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your access to or use of your website, including issues related to computer viruses or third-party products/services. Liability is limited to the fees actually received by WebVUS from you.

Ongoing Support, SEO Services, & PPC Management

- These services are subject to the above terms and are billed monthly or hourly as specified in the original estimates.

Transfers

- Transfers are provided as a courtesy, and WebVUS cannot guarantee the availability or compatibility of data from previous hosting providers.

Website Development & Ongoing Support

- Maintenance and support are included for 30 days post-launch. Further support will be billed according to the agreement. For additional support, it is recommended to sign up for ongoing support plans.

Website Support

- Maintenance updates are included in support agreements. New design or interactive features may incur additional costs. Service call fees apply for diagnosing issues on non-WebVUS websites. Errors caused by client changes will incur additional costs.

PPC Support

- PPC services provide a foundation for AdWords campaigns. WebVUS does not guarantee results but will make suggestions and implement changes as needed. Client changes to campaigns or website content may affect results.

SEO Support

- On-site SEO provides a foundation for ranking in search results. WebVUS does not guarantee rankings and will adjust strategies as needed. Changes made by the client may affect SEO performance and incur additional costs.

Changes to Terms

- We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
